  - - November is Southern Highlands ARTS Trail time! Visual artists across the Highlands open their studio doors for visitors to explore their creative habitats and purchase works direct from the maker. Exhibiting artists range from full-time professionals to emerging artists across genres including painting, ceramics, jewellery, woodwork, photography, sculpture and printmaking.

Turned Around

Studio Description

Surrounded by a Scottish Highland cattle stud, Michael has workspaces for wood turning and furniture rejuvenation, through restoration and upholstery, and studio spaces for display, demonstrations and workshops. His wood turning workshop has several lathes, tools and other wood working machinery as well as a store of timber. It is filled with the shavings and smell of the many different timbers that he uses for his creations. His furniture restoration workshop has all the materials and equipment needed to create a new life for vintage and antique furniture through restoration and upholstery. The studio space will be full of Michael’s creations for browsing and sale. Michael will be giving wood turning and furniture restoration demonstrations. Steve, a pyrography artist, will also be at Turned Around with sales and demonstrations of his stunning work inspired by Australian landscapes. Scottish Highland cattle feeding tours will also be running throughout all days.
