ARTS Trail
- - - Art STUDIO Trail 2020
- - - November is Southern Highlands ARTS Trail time! Visual artists across the Highlands open their studio doors for visitors to explore their creative habitats and purchase works direct from the maker. Exhibiting artists range from full-time professionals to emerging artists across genres including painting, ceramics, jewellery, woodwork, photography, sculpture and printmaking. Many of our galleries also participate with Trail-specific exhibitions.

Artist Statement

Bronze sculptures and hand build ceramics are key passions which will be featured in this exhibition. My aim across all my work is to avoid complexity and focus on dimension, texture, line and form that flows giving a sense of serenity. The Essence Collection bronzes combine influences from dance, pose, reflection, music and the human form. I’ve aimed to evoke a feeling of calm and warmth across this collection. Multiple ceramics collections will be shown including The Dint, Raw and Linear Collections all using White Raku Clay for it’s natural texture and colour.
