Artist Statement

An early love for flowers and symmetry found expression for a number of years in leadlight design with a special love for both the Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. This has brought me to my current love of bright, mainly wild and floral, art. Shapes, flowers, vines, colours… that’s my vibe. Additionally, anyone who knows me knows there is a small grandchild who loves to find treasures at Nana’s place… there are little hearts in glass or wood or silver dotted about our home… and so, each of my paintings has a heart, sometimes hiding… and a ladybird, just for fun.
