Artist Statement

My creative experience started early with an interest in china painting, folk art and other crafts including leather work and design. My journey led me to restoring and painting antique furniture with various bespoke designs, often for clients and sometimes purely for my own pleasure. Thus restoring discarded items into things of beauty. My current love of painting forgotten shacks. old fences and cars comes from a desire to capture the essence of bygone days.
