Music Café 2023 / CTC Robertson adds Music to the mix!

MUSIC CAFÉ  – Every second month, the CTC Robertson hosts a music program in the spirit of coffee house culture.

Music Café is a relaxed space to listen to talented local musicians while enjoying coffee and cake, or a glass of Centennial wine on a Saturday afternoon.

The first Music Café, featuring the JB Troubadors, was held in May 2022. Since then artists such as Peter Campbell, Amber Kenny and Jo Caseley have brought great acoustic music to the Highlands.

In 2023 there is another great year of music kicking off with Peter Campbell on February 11th, 2pm to 4pm.. watch this space for future artists.

CTC Robertson is a multi-function centre managed by a not-for-profit community organisation (CTC Robertson Inc.). Its aim is to create and maintain a welcoming hub for people who live, work, and visit Robertson and the Southern Highlands. The centre provides facilities and enriching experiences in IT, arts, education, business and commerce, and social and cultural fields.

The CTC has a program of community events. screenings performances and training workshops.

Join the free workshops and weekly drop-in sessions with digital mentors at the CTC Robertson. Discover how being online can add new skills and experiences to your life. Improve your digital skills and build confidence to use online services that connect with your interests.

The CTD can provide one on one training on computer, tablets (iPad or Android) and mobile phones, call to book a time. Training can be tailored to meet your needs. Bring in your own device for wifi access or use one of the computers in the training room for Internet access.

The CTC has a colour photocopier/printer which prints and scans A4 and A3, double sided. It also sorts and staples. Laminating and binding are also available.

CTC Robertson is also looking for local artists to exhibit their work in our local café and gallery. The exhibitions usually run for a calendar month, with the artist responsible for helping with hanging and taking down the exhibitions.

Venue Hire
The Cafe area in the CTC is available for hire. The Cafe area is ideal for small meetings, workshops, small concerts, launches and for training. CTC staff are happy to work with you in planning or promoting your meeting, workshop or event.

The CTC has a fresh and bright private office space for casual or permanent hire at very reasonable rates – ideal for people working remotely who need a quiet space with fast WiFi and office facilities.

Equipment Hire
The CTC has a data projector that can be hired for use in the cafe area as part of a venue hire.
Other equipment available for hire is a PA and a NLIS Reader (National Livestock Identification System)

CTC Robertson is managed by a volunteer committee and a part-time manager, and a team of volunteers.

Music Café is curated by CTC Committee member and musician Gary Norwell. Established and emerging musicians interested in playing a Music Café set can contact Gary via garynorwell@iinet.net.au.
