Terra Nova / 70 Years of Breaking Ground

Help celebrate the 70th anniversary of Australia’s pioneering pottery right here in the Southern Highlands.

With free artists talks, pottery demos and the launch of TERRA NOVA: 70 YEARS OF BREAKING GROUND AT STURT POTTERY – an exhibition of some of the remarkable artists who have lived, worked or taught at Sturt Pottery over the decades. 

The exhibition will feature some of Australia’s and the world’s most celebrated potters and will be open every day until 16th July.  All work will be for sale.

Official opening 11am 28th May by Bernadette Mansfield, Editor of Ceramics Art & Perception 

Pottery demonstrations at 10am. Artists Talks from 1-5pm.
