ARTSfile and Wingecarribee Shire Council are thrilled to bring you the ARTS Trail People’s Choice exhibition.
We were all quite devastated that this much-loved annual event had to be cancelled this year due to COVID-19 concerns and restrictions. The People’s Choice Art Prize is not intended to ‘replace’ the Trail, but rather to give some of our artists an opportunity to show their work and participate in this acquisitive art prize which carries a cash prize of $1,500.
As ARTStrail is a community-based event, submitted artworks were assessed by an independent panel of three community members (one from the creative industries sector) to create a shortlist of 20 pieces. These can be found below.
A $1,500 cash prize will be awarded to the artwork most voted-for (people’s choice), and the winning artwork will become part of WSC’s public art collection, to be displayed within the Civic Centre.
Voting will commence 9am on October 25th, and will conclude Friday 6th Nov, at 4.30pm.
Shortlisted artworks will be professionally curated and installed in Council’s Civic Centre Foyer for viewing by the visiting public throughout November (pending restrictions lifting to allow).

The Voting Page has thumbnails of each work, its number, the name of work and the artist. This is all you need to do:
1.. Register by inserting your name and email address
2.. Click the thumbnail to register your vote
3.. If you change your mind, click it again to deselect it, and click your new selection.
