As well as an account of a joyously shenanigan marriage, the memoir narrative inserts edgy excerpts from the author’s other as yet unpublished manuscripts, her husband Ted Springett having enjoyed hearing them read aloud, a glass of chilled rose from Provence in his hand.
Alexandra Springett was an interior designer, and a registered nurse in her earlier years. She decided to care for her husband at their historic Bowral home Grantham until his death, within an environment of music, loving family, and champagne in crystal flutes. The ghosties of Grantham approved…
