Visual artists across the Highlands open their studio doors for visitors to explore their creative habitats and purchase works direct from the maker. Exhibiting artists range from full-time professionals to emerging artists across genres including painting, ceramics, jewellery, woodwork, photography, sculpture and printmaking.

Clay and Fibre

Studio Description

My ceramics is very much influenced by nature and colour. I love to include texture into each piece. Porcelain is a great base to start from, I like to colour the clay or use as a painterly surface. In my weaving, colour and texture are also very important. I have a Saori floor loom which is great for my weaving. I am able to include so many different types of fibre, eg. raw fleece, silk, wool alpaca and other external materials.
